"For man cannot give wild animals freedom, they can only take it away" Jacques-yves Cousteau. Just when you thought you knew Sea World, this film opens your eyes and you see the big picture. Blackfish is an emotional and moving documentary about the legendary orca Tilikum, The whale that was taken from his family and put into captivity to entertain paying customers, its really heart wrenching when you think about it. This documentary also reveals the center relationship with sea world and whale hunting going from the 1970s. When I watched this film I just kept asking how can people treat these animals so poorly and not think is this right? one of the most heart wrenching scenes in the movie is when one of the baby orcas gets taken away from her mom. You hear the mom make these sounds that know one heard before. she was trying to  see where her baby was and calling for her it was hard to watch.
After seeing this movie it makes me want to be an advocate or become a voice for these orca whales, and also animals that are held in captivity and prevent these animals that are free become captive. Since this movie I will not be going to zoos or SeaWorld if I am going to see animals it's going to  be in the wild where they belong!
