What I've learned

Blackfish was an eye opening and powerful film on Tilikum and SeaWorld. It is one of my favorite documetnaries I have seen. with each film I haven there has been a message which it is trying to get across whether its on how we should save water or captivity . I believe what Blackfish is a film that makes you think. It makes you think about where these animals came from, it makes you ask is this really right what SeaWorld is doing and all this time we have paid thousands of dollars to see these creatures put on a show for us. As a kid you don't think about where they came from you think that in a tank this is where I can find orca whales. since we have grown older you become wiser and learn the truth and for me I had no idea that the orcas we see are suffering in captivity and are treated poorly in a way they shouldn't. The film makes you want to become a voice and spread awareness that the orcas and all animals should be set free and that captivity truly scars them emotionally, mentally and sometimes physically. I myself have spread awareness and became a voice to try to empty the tanks and put the orcas and animals back to where they belong in the wild.
